The VOG 29-Lat Challenge is run from either direction from the two points Latitude closest to the 29° latitude or parallel, south of the equator.

It's been a dream of mine to be able to do a trip around Lesotho on my motorcycle. Knowing that I was limited to black top driving, the challenge would be to map out a route that would not only be exhilarating to ride, but safe for my tarmac-hugging cruiser........... and me.

……you know that this is no run-of-the-mill “Joe Soap” – but someone with spirit and character!

VOG's 14th birthday fell on Sunday 4th March this year - and it was decided to hold the Birthday Bash on the same day at the Little Nero's venue in North Rand road - Boksburg, Gauteng.

The occasion was celebrated on the same basis as a breakfast run, except that credits for the past year’s official outings were presented and awards made accordingly - being based on attendances of members who ride their own bikes and partners who ride pillion – as documented on run registers submitted.
