Dawid & Liana Fourie (Dave & Lana)

This month Dave Fourie (VO384) along with Lana will have been members of VOG for seven years! Introduced by Corrie & Cathy Janse van Rensburg, Dawid was taken into membership with his Suzuki Boulevard by Dave Davy on the 14th January 2013 and the couple have served as faithful members since, with Dawid as principal member and Lana as his regular pillion.

We are excited to welcome VO233 Lawrence Leonard to VOG's Hall of Fame - a position reserved for any member that has turned 70 years old and has continued service in VOG of at least 5 years. He becomes a "Lifetime Member" and will not pay subs for as long as he chooses to be associated with the Vee Owners Group - as an active member or retired.

East Cape Member David Catchpole looks back on his recent trip with fellow VOG riders down to the Buff in Mossel Bay:

"I took a ride recently, along with some friends, to the Buffalo Rally. I haven't been to "The Buff." since '96 and so I thought it was about time to go again.

It was a misty start, but an hour later, waiting to meet my friends, the sun was out.


Stopping for breakfast is always a good way to start the day and also later, a break for coffee and a leg stretch.

This year, Wesley Meyer will have ridden motorcycles from 1962 onwards to 2019 – a total of 57 years in the saddle! 


Wes joined the Vee Owner’s Group as number VO225 on 22 July 2008 with his Honda Shadow 750cc.
