Gauteng's "Deneys Croc & Lion Run"


VOG Gauteng invites all members for a brekkie run on Sunday 7th August down to the Free State, where a kuier will be had at the Deneys Croc & Lion Ranch on the banks of the Vaal Dam.

The route is just short of an hour’s ride from the Zebra point and is a total of 82km - with the first 56km being on the R59 highway and the rest on good condition pothole free country roads.


Zebra Point:


Area communities will gather for the formation ride at the Zebra point, being the R59 Michelle Ave Sasol garage. ETD from this assembly point will be 09h00 SHARP and we should arrive at the Deneysville venue by about 10h00.


The Bikers Breakfast on offer @ R 85.00 will be served “Buffet Style” and consists of the following:-


• Eggs

• Bacon

• Cheese Griller

• Baked Beans

• Chicken Livers

• Tomato

• Chips

• Toast

Bar facilities are for your own account.

For those interested in taking the tour to see the Crocs and Lions, the price is R 65.00 per person. If there is a group of 10 or more, the price will drop to R 50.00 per person.


You may RSVP now on vogrsvp@worldonline.co.za via e-mail or wait until you receive your bulk SMS giving ETD times and meeting points for the run. Please do not RSVP more than once, unless your details have changed since doing so the first time! Also, please do not RSVP to any other number you may have. When you receive the bulk SMS, by simply pressing "reply" and adding your message, it will be retained in the system and carried to the correct address.

Your RSVP is required and should include the following vital information please – NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 5th August: This allows us to arrange seating, catering and planning for a safe and enjoyable ride.

Specify the number of bikes, the number of cages, the number of persons, the number of meals, the Area Cell where you will meet and most importantly GIVE YOUR FULL NAME and VO Number please! (See example below).


RSVP example: 1 bike, 1 cage, 4 heads, 3 meals, ERS, Jim Niemand, VO243.
